Mine's down for the count. Oil pump issue, so the engine is being replaced but I have no cash and I have a rust issue on the shock towers that I'm debating what to do with. Its not bad enough to scrap the car but would require a fair amount of work to correct and with no money/welder its probably going to stay as-is for a while. Also should probably get a new clutch while the engine is out, as well as engine mounts but again I have no job.

My Daily is an 08 Dodge and my wife drives her 05 Honda so no one will drive the LX much at all when I finally get it inspected. Have owned it since Jan 08 and havent been able to legally drive it although I just got it registered as a classic. Hope to inspect it in a couple weeks and legally cruise with the top down for my birthday on the first.

One for DD'ing, one for (occasional) weekend use. I wish I could drive my '89 more, but anymore I spend so much time on the weekends fixing crap on my '84 to keep it on the road that I don't have any time for it.

Eventually going to ditch the '84 for a compact truck/SUV (leaning heavily towards getting another S10 pickup/S10 Blazer), but I'm sure it'll take frickin' forever to sell the thing because hardly anyone likes four-eyed Mustangs. I don't hate DD'ing it, really, and I happen to be among the few that love the looks of a four-eye, but I just don't NEED (nor can I justify owning) two 5.0 Foxes.

Only reason I don't drive my Capri now is because two of the tires have slow leaks an my '04 has A/C. I live in Arizona, 'nuff said.

In the winter months, my Capri and I are inseperable.

C'mon you guys. Those of you who don't have your Stang running need to get with it.

I own four Capris... they all run great, have full coverage insurance and current registration / inspection.

And no, I'm not rich... I just keep up with the stuff they need to keep them running.

It's all about me having a f***ed up set of priorities I guess... just ask my GF. LOL.

I hear that.. Drove my 87' GT' (got it bone stock right down to exh and the air silencer) and it became my DD for nearly 6 years driving a 28 mile round trip half of those years and then 60 mile round trip every day after I got my new job and only put me down ONCE during that time because the stock clutch quadrent failed on me in a Food Lion parking lot. It also got a few bolt on's here and there during that time until last year when I rebuilt the engine. It sits in the garage now since I got my 96' GT 'vert and I only drive it to work during good weather and weekends fun. I would not hesiate drive this car anywhere, problem I have now is justifing to my wife why I need new upgrades to the Fox!!!

The car is in awesome shape still but the last repaint (not done by me) is starting to show it's age and since I have got into paint and body now I plan to do a complete resto on it. Lucy for me the interior is in nearly perfect shape so the outside will be my only challenge.

I can relate. There was a time when my '90 was practically my main priority in life. The very first birthday gift(s) my wife bought me was a Hurst Shifter and 70mm throttle body. I took that as a sure sign that I talked about that car way too much. More importantly though it showed that she was actually listening. lol
