Doesnt somebody sell a shaker hood for the 87-93 mustang?

I could have sworn i saw a shaker hood scoop for a 87-93 mustang, but i cant find it anywhere. Anybody know where i can find one?

They are no longer in business. You may be able to still find a kit lying around somewhere that someone is trying to sell though.

I looked into getting the banshee shaker hood about a year ago but decided not to. The banshee is just too small in relative comparison to the stock hood. Also it is designed only to bolt to a stock intake manifold. I contacted CDC (classic design concepts) the makers of the shaker for the 96-99 and 99-04 mustangs and at the time they replied that they had no interest in making a shaker for the fox and felt there was no market and they like to stick with the newer models. So sorry there are not very many options for us fox owners. You could if you are good at fabricating and have lots of time on your hands custom fabricate the 96-99 model shaker to your hood but no guarantees.

The shaker system isn't that effecient with EFI, if you see a shaker on a fox, it probally is just a scoop sitting on a carb or two, which in turn is probally sitting on a high rise or blower.

I think they look gay on Foxes. Good on New Edge cars, and I'm not sure I've ever seen one on an SN95, but they just don't fit the lines of the Fox, IMO.

the one i saw was bigger, it wasnt the banshee kit, i think it was in MMFF in a little ad. I just want something diffrent, ive seen every type of hood on a mustang, i work in a body shop so i might just have to get the mach 1 shaker and fab it to my intake

It's pretty amazing what you can do with some phenalic material and an orbital sander. You can make spacers and shims for just about anything. Find a wrecked Mach1 at a junk yard and you're in business.

I think I know which place you're referring to. I went back to that website too (had a link for it). It's gone now too.

LOL really? They are pretty expensive, i could see them not being made at all anymore.

That's just it. To my knowledge, they're NOT being made anymore.
