... you are working towards selling your car, so you fix all the litte nits that will make it more sellable, and all of a sudden, it is actually a really nice car with none of those little annoyances that you have been living with all these years, and you think, "geez, if only it was like this all along, i would have been so much happier with it for so much longer"?

:bang:

that is what my stang is getting to be like. i fixxed the radio, it is running great, no exhaust leaks, new seat covers and paint, new plug wires that look good, everything works, including the AC ...

damn, i wish it was like this all along!

sorry, just had to vent a little ...

Yep, doing the same thing now. Took off some of the small dumb things I have done, and have realized what I will not be doing to my new ride. Ive also decided that my go fast parts are going to collect a little dust, so I can enjoy the car without any down time for the rest of the summer.

Does that mean you're going to keep it a little longer Chris?

that's just about always been my philosophy Nick. Drive the car in the summer and only work on it if something breaks. upgrading/working is for the winter time.

Ryan - heh, I'd like to drag it out as long as I can so I can enjoy it a little before selling it, but I have put it off for long enough I think. It will most likely be ready to go on the block by the end of September.

This time, I am going to deal with all the little annoyances of the Fairlane much more quickly, so that I like getting in it and driving it.
