door molding idea

would like to fill in the area where the stripe normally goes,what kind of rubber/plastic like filler to use and smooth out with?saw it on this green t-top mustang in last months issue of modified mustang and looks really cool.

i wouldn't put that much filler in there its going to crack and fall out i think.

theres got to be some kind of epoxy or special urethane filler

i'd fiberglass it so if you don't like it, you can rip it off and put your moulding back on.

hey guys pm the back of the door moldings if the metal strips are a little broken is there any way to fix them or can i take them out? or replace them with something else?

take off themetal strips, you don't needthem and lay the mouldings somewher flat and they will straighten out. Use a blowdryer if you need to help get some of the glue off.

ah coo thanks i though i had read somewhere that not to remove those metal strips but i will remove them hehe. what kind of double tape should i put on them?

yea thats what im going to be going with just searched on google for double sided 3m tape and see a few different ones.

thanks for the info help guys i should finish this tomorrow

get the thin, wide white kind that ricers use to holdon their body kits.
