i have a 99 cobra and i know it has 3.27's stock, but i was wondering, it might have gears it in, i was in 5th gear at 80mph and the rpms were at 2,200, is that normal? or could it have gears? thanks =Jeff

I'd say that's a stock gear...My 02 with 4.10s runs about 2800rpm at 80.

They are stock most likely. With stock gears, you should be turning 2294rpms @ 80 mph.

Check if you have a metal tag on the rear axel. It's bolten on the cover and tells you the ratio. If it's missing, you have gears.

Sometimes you need to be creative to find the answer. Go outside and do a 2nd-gear burnout from a dead stop. Come back and describe what sort of smells are present afterwards.

Yes sir.....If you were above 2500rpm then I would say you would have something different than stock, but from a guy who's had a 3.73 and 4.10, you don't.
