Sounds to me like you have stock gears. When mine were stock I ran just about the exact same thing.
However, there IS a way to tell I believe. I remember reading something about jacking up the car, turning the rear wheel and counting how many times the drive shaft rotated... Not sure what exactly the formula was. Maybe somebody will post it up or that will give you enough info to search a little more. Or, maybe i'm thinking of the wrong thing all together....
