Has anybody run a 255/50r16 drag radial on a Fox Coupe. I know this is a 27 inch tall tire, will it rub without rolling the fenders. I am using Mega-Bite Jrs on the lower setting for lower arms.

i ran the same size tire on my gt, didnt rub or anythink at all. came close to the quads but was fine.

I run a 255/50/16 MT drag radial on my convertible and have no rubbing issues. And they hook great.

The coupes wheel well are the smallest out of the fox bodies. The only place I see you having a problem is the lip. You may need to roll it but, not very much.

I thought all body styles had the same amount of room???

Im running 255/50/16 MT DR's as well. Hook good enough to snap an axle on a 99% stock car...

Make sure your rear is up to the traction.

Thanks Everyone for the replies. My rear axles are stock 28 spline. Hopefully I can avoid an Axle issue until I upgrade. I ditched the Quads when I installed the MegaBites's. It will be different launching after the 5-speed swap.
