drag rims!?

im planning on getting some bfg's drag radials for the stang. i want a 275/50/15 and was wondering what size rim to get with that. thanks for any help.

I think what you ment was widith size, this could be any from 7.5 to 9.5 Look in a summit or jegs catalog, it shows all the tire sizes and the best size for the rim.

get at least a 9 inch wide rim for that size DR. the BFG's are known to baloon more than Nitto's so need the extra width to be most effective.

dont wawste your time with drs. Whats the point if they are for the track? GET SLICKS

I run those on 15x8's, and they work perfect.

Slicks are better for all out traction, but 15" DR's have there place. I use BFG 275/50 R15 DR's because I switch over to them at home, and then drive to the track. I could not do that with slicks since they cannot be driven on the street. DOT racing tires like MT Streets are some where between a slick and DR's. What you get really depends on how serious your are.
