I just started drag racing this year and have been out about 4 weekends and done about 25 passes in total. i know what the regular stuff like reaction time, mph, 330 and so forth mean but what about the other stuff. At the bottom of my time slip it says CALT. I am assuming this means some kind of altitude calculation. Where i live is 2270 feet above see level. On my time slips this CALT says 4574 on my first time trial of the day with a temp of 80.6 and Humidity of 22. By my last run of the night it then reads 3423 with a temp of 62.6 and humidity of 47. What is this 3423? Does it mean corrected altitude or what? Do any of your tracks have this and what does it actually mean? My track is NHRA sanctioned. How can i calculate what my times would be corrected to sea level? Any ideas?

that is calculated altitude. basically, it's trying to give you an measure of which to compare times in different enviroments.

here are calculators.

its your corrected altitude based on the heat and humidity at the time of the pass you made.

Could somebody please explain 'reaction time'?
Also, what is the time between the last yellow,
and green?

Reaction time is the time it takes you to start moving once it turns green.

People will give the car gas on the last yellow since it takes time for the car to react and start to move. About the same amount of time it takes for the last yellow to turn to green.
