I would like to buy some 15x9(back) and 15x7(front) draglites for my 92 GT that has been lowered 1.5"s, my questions:

1. What backspacings?
2. Do i have to dick around with the quadshocks and all that other jazz :(
3. Where is the best place to buy these
4. what size tires for a 7" rims
5. Prob gonna run a 275 out back :D

Any other tips/info would be greatly appreciated....and YES i did a search :rlaugh:

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

2. I have 17x9s w/ 275s out back on mine and it's lowered (only like 3/4") and all I needed to do was installed a 1/4" spacer in tha rears and I have no problems whatsoever, still have quads installed.
4. 225 or 215 for tha 7" up front

where did you buy your rims, and spacer

also, do you have pics of your car

Im running a 275 out back as well with a 215 up front. No spacer, removed quad shocks, no problems. If I had a spacer my rear tires would stick out of my fenders and look mexican with my back spacing lol.

15x7.5 front and 15x8.5 rear.

probably gonna want 5.5" backspacing. I don't think you should have to dick w/ the quad shocks w/ 5.5" backspacing. Reason being is that I have 15x10's w/ 6.5 backspacing and w/ a 1/4 spacer (making backspacing actually 6.25), mine seem to clear. You might end up rolling your fender lips.

I'd recommend seeing what others say first, but there are many threads on tires/wheels, so you're bound to find something if you run a few searches.

Yep, stock ponies are 7" and come w/ 225's, or you could run 215's if you want to like cjman said.

You could check ebay or the classifieds over at www.corral.net. I got a pretty decent deal on my 15x10's w/ brand new tires :D

I just put my new draglites/tires on today. I have 15x8s w/5.5" bs in the rear and run 275/50 nittos. I had to remove the quad shocks, but that is it. No hammering the inner fender, no rolling the outer lip, and no spacers. Just removed the quad shocks. My car is lowered about 1.5" and I there is no rubbing at all. Not even on the tail pipes.

I have 15x5s in the front with 195/65 BFG traction T/A radials. Again, no rubbing at all.

I will post pics once I take some tomorrow.
