Draglites on a DD

Any problems?
15x8 or 15x9 out back with maybe a 15x7 up front?
Don't really want to go all out skinnies really.
Is a daily driver and not sure how they would be on the street.
Car is not driven during the salty winter months but driven spring - fall

they work fine for me. both by front rims are bent but thats because a older gentleman ran me off the road. my car is on jackstands and the rims are being fixed. other then that they have been on for 5 years with no troubles. They also clean up very nicely. I polish em up with autoglym metal polish.

Go with Draglite XP's. They are the only ones that fit correctly and their quality is A LOT better than the standard Draglites.

For the fronts 15 X 8's with 5 inch BS will work just fine and the rear 15 X 9's with a 6 inch BS.

This will make them sit flush with the fender lip and not stick out or in any.

i've run 15x5/15x7 Draglites on my 79 for about 5 years now, with 165 tires on front. Works fine. Since the front tires are narrower, they are not as sensitive to having perfect front end alignment, and seem to hold up real well, and are also cheaper to replace, when needed.

No negatives from here.

i have had no quality or fitment issues with my regular draglites, and im on my second set...(swapped from 4 lug to 5). ive heard that they dont make the XP's anymore and if you find them they probally will cost way more than a standard draglite.

i am also running skinnies and i love it looks way cool, im not on a road coure or rally track so i could care less how fast i make it through a corner. i have no reliabilty issuse and its decent on the highway, even with no front swaybar.

if your gonna run draglites big and littles are the way to go, draglites dont look right with anythin more than 195's in the front.

If you have a '94 and up, you have to use the XP's on the front to clear the brakes, otherwise you have to use spacers. At least that's what my buddy with a '95 GT found out.

You can run 15x5s on the front and they still look skinny, but are less prone to bending.

I have 15X7's all the way around with a 255 rear tire and love them.

Yeah, really considering a non-skinny on the front.
Just curious if theyre really prone to bending or the heat from a long drive(from the brakes) would screw with them whatsoever.

Theyre going on my 92 GT with stock calipers, and powerslot rotors(believe their the stock size, whatever that is)
Looking to run maybe a 275/285 tire in the back (around 26" in height)
Dropping my quad shocks soon after I get my MM LCA's in
So what width would you reccommend the rim to be?
15x9 be appropriate?
Or should I go with a 15x8
And run a 15x7 or so on the front, unsure on how wide the tire should be.
I live on a long windy road too, so I don't want to be going like 10 under because of my wheel selection

my fronts are 15x6.5 and I run 195's on the front. Ideally you want more than 15x8 for a 275 tire, although some do it. You could go w/ a 15x9 w/ 5.5 or 6" of backspacing (not sure if you can find 15x9's w/ 6" of backspacing). My 275/50 BF Goodrich t/a's are 26".

Regular draglites are fine on a fox. I've also been running mine for 5+ years on 3 different cars.

On my 88 lx i have 275/50/15 mt et drag radails on a 15x8 weld draglite. As far as the front goes i have skinnies on the front but i dont drive it every day.
