Getting some Weld Draglites (15x3 / 15x8). I am planning on running the M/T Drag Radial on the rear. If I was running a slick I know I would get the 26x8 size. What would that equate to in Drag Radial size? 255/40/15 My GT has H/C/I and 3:55 gears, 5 Speed.

Thanks

Got 245/15 on my Welds, only 7" wide though, all the way around. She only races on special occasions, now that we're old!

245/60-15 are the 26x8 , 275/50-15 = 26x10.5 , 275/60-16 = 28x10

the 275/60 are F'N HUGE!!! You dont need them if your not trapping over 126 MPH. I have 275/50's on my car and they look big, but my car is slammed. You could get by with either 245/60's or the 275/50's.

I would get 255/60. I run 275/50 Mickey but you have to see what you like on your car. I've had a couple of different size tires on my car.

275/60 which is a bout a 28" tire. May be a bit tall for his 3.55 gears. I would recommend something closer to a 26" tire

by the way, there's a handy tire sizing calculator HERE

You can plug in two different sizes and compare such things as diameter, circumference, and revolutions per mile

Give it a try

265/50s for me. I don't like retarded huge tires on my car unless you can actually use them (like huge slicks or something).
