Drivetrain Driveshaft same? 88 cougar and fox mustangs

Have a 1988 mercury cougar it’s been changed to a t5 and 8.8 can a mustang driveshaft be put in
The cougar?

I would think it would be too short.

Someone said aod driveshafts have extra balancers than t5 shaft

They do on the yoke.

You can just swap the yoke with that from a 5-spd.

I also want to say the driveshaft is a different lenght but not 100% certain so don't take that to the bank. I know the AOD in the cougar is longer.

Ok will look
No idea what’s under there not sure if they had aod shaft cut
But with bad vibrations going to start there
