Driving Lights vs Clear Fog Lens Replacement

Has anyone replaced the 99+ fog lights with driving lights? I searched and found a few that did the clear fog lamps. I'm thinking about driving lights for the extra illumination. What brands and p/n's if you have them will directly fit the 99+ mounting? Or, will I need to do some drilling etc..? Also, for those that did the clear fogs, did it make a big difference in illumination over the standard fog lense?

I put on the clear fogs that I found on Mustangtuning.com (actually from eBay), but I did note a difference in illumination. Plus it makes the front end look better. They came lamp housings only--you need to remove the mounting bracket from the old ones and install them on the new ones. It took me 30 minutes tops to get it all done.

i got mine off ebay thru procarparts.....they came with brackets....makes front end look better, light given off is brighter....

CDC has a reputation for having really good quality stuff. I wouldn't feel bad about ordering at set of those if the price tag wasn't so painful!

I got a pair of the clear fog lights. The lighting is brigther plus the front end looks alot better. I am happy with my purchase.
