Drooling over Cobras

I went to Dana Point this morning to do some kayaking and when pulling into the parking lot to unload the kayak, there were 4 kit car Cobras in the parking lot. One guy let me take a look at his 427 motor! They all started up their engines at the same time. Let me tell you, that side exhaust sounded mean, all four at the same time. The best part was they were all sticks, no slush boxes. Yes, it was a nice day at the beach.

The weather is so nice on the coast. The water was clear and warm. It's about 11 pm now and my air conditioner is still running!

Is Dana Point anywhere near San Diego, preferably Chula Vista? I just bought a kayak. I used to go canoeing ALOT when I lived in Louisiana.

It's pretty close. You'll have to define S.D. though. When did you move to S.D. ? I have a Cobra that I have seen right around the corner from me. Never covered or anything. Funny though. It's on a busy main city street. I don't know if I would trust people enough to leave it there. Then again, I haven't seen it there is a while. Wonder if it got stolen.

I have to say that I dont really like it that much. One good thing, Ive never seen so many hella fine girls in one place.

Just wait. The summer here has been horrible. There are many fine women to go around. Wait till you go to Mission Beach. There aren't many good places to go 'coon huntin', but there are many things to do here . Like go to Qualcomm and Barona to drag. And hopefully, there is supposed to be a 1/4 mi strip opening by you. I'll be down in your city more than you.

Im going to Qualcomm to go and see the Chargers get their a$$es get handed to them by the Broncos! LOL That sounds pretty cool about the 1/4 strip opening up. Too bad my car is slow as hell. Just give me three years though. The I6 just doesnt cut it. Oh yeah, I heard about that wave house in Mission Beach. I might go check that out, even though Ive never been surfing. LOL

Oh yeah, are there any good junk yards around here that have Mustangs, Falcons, and Fairmonts in them? Im looking for a 8" or 9" rear, 302 to strke to a 331, T-5 tranny, V-8 front spindles, maybe even a disc brake setup.
