I herd someone talking about being able to drop the rear end a little bit so I can get my tailpipes out. Are these the supports I want to unbolt so I can avoid unbolting the springs, there are 2 of them and they are on the top of the rear end?

Undo your the bottom bolt on the shock...it'll do the trick...Place a jack under the shock...undo the bolt and let drop slowly...You dont want to undo those upper control arms to do what you need...

Yup...make sure you have it jacked up high enuf to get some drop if your not on a lift...just go down slowly....watch your brakes lines as you drop so that you dont pull on them when the dif is lowered.

How many in "talk" and how many in "tech"? Tech posts count towards your post count. Talk posts do not.

are you removing the stock tails to put in an aftermarket catback?

if so its probably easier to just cut the stock ones out

No, I'm going to be running it dumped out the h pipe but I don't want to cut them so I can throw them back on when inspection time rolls around...
