From what I hear, Groundpounder's have quality control issues.
How about this: A pair of aluminum heads will save approx 50 lbs off the front of the vehicle and increase power output by 30-50 rwhp. Now I understand there is a bit more expense involved here, but that seems like a deal to me. Emissions will be unaffected if the heads are smog legal and weight distribution is positively affected making your daily drive more fun than dumping your seats and sound insulation for the same savings.
Lets think of other items:
Aluminum radiator
Fiberglass hood
Lose weight (yes, that means your body, not the car's)
Aluminum driveshaft
Spare tire and jack (at the strip)
1/2-1/4 tank of gas (cruising or strip)
