could this be used in the aftercooler instead of ice(frozen water)? if so that would be less of a headache to keep putting ice in the aftercooler. just a thought to keep !

I work in a lab and sometimes bring our dry ice to the track, but ice water usually cools the intake better. Dry ice doesn't last too long on an intake, so I wouldn't think it would last too long in an aftercooler. You can blow on dry ice and melt it.

Water would work so much better simply becuase it's making contact with the heat exchanger elements whereas the dry ise won't. It would cool the air in there but that's about it. You would be best off use ice water or really cold antifreeze. But then again, I'm not totallly familiar with how those after coolers operate.
