I am on the verge of purchasing a Pro or Super Pro Bullet 347 Long-block with AFR 185 heads from DSS within the next few days

However I have heard from someone I trust that DSS engines have a few issues such as excessive oil burning.

Is this indeed the case? If you have positive or negative feedback about DSS engines please reply.

positive here too... i didn't buy a motor a bought a pistons, oil pan etc... they were great...

I'll give them positive feed back on quality of parts. Not sure on fit and finish yet. I bought a level 20 block,MAIN SUPPORT SYSTEM,& PRO-TRAY WINDAGE TRAY. I won't know anything about the fit and finish untill spring time when I get the motor done.
