I'm going to br buying a short block in the next cople of days and was deciding between DSS pro bullet or CHP's pro street. I've talked to DSS before and they seem to be very helpfull so I'm leaning towards them but have you guys got parts form either and what did you think?

I have heard from a few people who have baught dss short blocks, some of them have had good luck but unfortunaly most have had a bad experince with them . My friend baught a 331 short block and didnt even have it in his car for 5 thousand miles and it had a rod bearing go out. just sharing the info but i would consider going with chp bvut thats my own opinion. well good luck with what ever you decide to go with.:SNSign:

+1. I saved about $1,000 by going with Rick over these companies. Their $500 shipping kills the deal.

I've had my DSS ProBullet for almost 10,000 HARD miles and have had NO problems with it. I would defintely buy one again and recommend DSS. They seem to have a good product and they're very willing to talk to you and help put the best package together for your application.

I called CHP as well before I made my short block purchase and felt hurried to make a decision and on top of that, who ever I talked to sounded like an arrogant, rude *******.

Just my $.2

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
