Dual air cleaner ? for 85 GT

I have an 85 GT with the dual snorker air cleaner..I was wondering where i can get the top piece in chrome...I see some on the web with chrome tops was that an option? Or do people have them chromed.....Also i want to get a set of chrome valves which set is nice? And 85 is different for later models right? Thanks....

They never came in chrome and to my knowledge nobody sells them in chrome so what you're seeing are either custom chrome or more likely polished since they're aluminum.

Thanks for the info i found them for sale..for 59.99 in stock form www.performancepartsinc.com I like they way it looks with the chrome valve covers too....

Wow, that's pretty cool.


Personally i'm just gonna get a 4 inch K+N and the K+N Extreme filter lid and use that lid instead of the factory lid. I've seen this setup with a nice painted breather housing and it looks pretty cool and then the fender tubes are still functional.
