This guy came into my work a couple hours ago and was telling me about a 95 Cobra he used to have. He was telling me about some of the stuff he had done to it, and how he had GT-40 heads on it and so forth. He said how he had put a Paxton NOVI 2000 s/c on it, and when he bought his 01 WS6 Trans Am, it still smoked the crap outta the Cobra. I was like, WTF?? Then he started talking about how he threw some new "cams" in it, and started talking about DOHC setups. At this point I was like, dude 5.0's are NOT OHC engines, they're pushrods. They have NEVER been OHC engines. He said no it was a 5.0 DOHC motor, and I said it wasn't the production one then. He said no it was a Dugan Performance motor. Has anybody heard of these guys? I think this dude was full of ***** because I REALLY don't think GT-40 heads would work on a DOHC motor. lol, I also don't see how in the world his WS6 (if he really ever had one) still smoked the blown 5.0. But other than that, he knew some stuff about building motors, just not about Ford stuff. He said the thing he liked about Ford was that if you were willing to spend the money, a Ford motor will ALWAYS outrun a Chevy motor, which is not entirely true. He said that Ford just costs so much more to build, which is total bulls***. So what do you guys think? This guy a douchebag or what? I have never heard of Dugan Performance. But the guy is coming back in a couple of days for more work done, and I wanna really stick it to him. lol,
