I have an SCT ba2800 90mm mass air that I'm putting in a 94 cobra 302. I coming up with multiple issues. 1.) connections in the wiring have a different amount of pins. And 2.) Its a ton bigger than my cold air kit.

I know people have been doing this, just not sure how.

changing the pins/plugs is the easy part... See pic below...

How are you tuning the ecu? OR is this thing cal'd for the injectors???

I am prepping to install a 90mm LMAF on my 90GT, which I believe is the same hardware as the SCT MAF's (?).
I never did find a 4" CAI setup for this application.
I have purchased a few bends and some straight 4" tubing, so that I can put my own CAI together.

Here is the Hose/MAF adapter similar to what I am using...

A cone air filter in the hot engine compartment - not good. Do you have any surge or idle problems?

I would head back to Home Depot for some 4" PVC pipe and put the air filter in the wheel well where the stock filter pulls air from.

Thanks guys that was a huge help. I'm going to be tuning the ecu right after I get it all back together. The hardest part is I'm running out of room in that engine bay. Solid motor mounts, here I come.
