My horns stopped working in my Fox and prevented me from getting it inspected. Not that I have the money to get it fully registered, insured, and inspected right now.
Well I started thinking, maybe it was the relay, so I get another relay, still nothing, I try adding more grounds, nothing, I try swapping out the horns from a junkyard, nothing. This all over a course of a month since I'm a slow worker.
Well. Then I think, why don't I just test the voltage with the horn flipped on at the horns?
I do and it reads 13 volts (what the battery is charged to) exactly. I'm pissed at my self for buying crap horns and letting it sit this long like an idiot. -___-
And I thank HISSIN50 for giving me the idea to test at where it stops working (I'm really bad at this) and for increasing my knowledge immensely
Good news is that the horns are exchangeable, just gotta pull another pair.
