ok with my mods in my sig, I made 245rwhp & 279tq, I'm not sure if the loose converter is affecting my numbers.

The tuner thinking the stall is more like 3800-4000rpm instead of the 3600rpm that I requested. The feel strong but I'm not sure if the converter is giving us that feeling.

They are good for an auto! you are making almost 300 horse at the crank! with 20 percent drivetrain loss!

Who did the tuning? And did they lock the converter on the dyno (they should have)? If they did lock the converter then you didn't lose much through the converter.

I think they are...compared to me anyways.

You've got these parts over me:

Long Tubes / No Cats / Plenum / TB / TC

Yet you only dynoed 10 hp over me??? Doesn't look right...
(Ignore the TQ...I think they were inflated by the dyno...Dynoed 270ft/lbs before)

ive always been told that auto's lose about 18% from the drive train

sorry guys, was away for awhile, yes the tuner locked the TC for the pulls.
Also I found out the builder used the wrong pistons and dropped my CR to 9.0 to 1. That did not help the numbers at all.
I have yet to get new times with this setup since it is winter in Ohio.
I guess I'll let the times at the track tell me if it is stronger or not lol

yeah, the TC would make the dyno numbers look low. not too shabby. i want to see some 1/4 times...

If you're compression ratio is dropped, then that is probably why you're below the 250rwhp mark. That, and since your torque converter is multi-disk, you have to remember that the more disks you run, the heavier that torque converter becomes, and the heavier the converter, the more numbers you loose at the wheel. As you said, the loose converter might be causing a some what low read out.

hey I think the drop down to 9 to 1 CR really hurt my numbers. You would still think that a 9.5 inch w/3 disc would still be light then a 12-13 stock TC.

Next rebuild I will do, that way I know it was done right.
