Here are the dyno numbers for my Trick Flow street heat kit. The mods are in my sig. I don't have a scanner so I can't post the actual dyno sheet, but here are the numbers:

305.14 rwhp
335.79 rwtq

What do you guys think?

i was hopeing for a little more.

I don't see why you would expect more. The motor has over 144k miles on it, and the rings are going out (blows blue smoke). The shop I brought it to said it was the most power they've seen with the Trick Flow kit on an N/A 302. 305 rwhp puts it close to 360 at the flywheel. What did you expect to see?

Awesome #'s!! The 75mm TB IS WHAT YOU WANT!!! Don't listen to the keyboard racers please! Can you post the graph? I made 303hp/339tq when i had the full TFS combo but I bet your making more in the low-mid range with the longtubes.

i dono iwas thinkin maybe 10-15 more but i also i didnt know the bottom end wasnt solid. have you done a compresion test? i would be curiouse what numbers come from that. but im still jelouse of 335ft/lbs :)

"keyboard racers" haha..that's f@ckin cute, I like that..I stand corrected, I just did some research of my own & found that the TFS Street Heat intake comes with a 75mm intake diameter..I was told it was 65mm by a "real racer" with a national championship under his belt..just goes to show that you can't always listen to people..good thing I didn't replace my stocker t-body yet :nice:

edit: In that case wouldn't it be better to go with a 80mm mass air meter to produce a cone effect?

I'll post the graph as soon as I have access to a scanner, maybe later today. I agree, I don't think the 75mm TB is hurting any performance.

I did a compression test with the stock heads awhile back and here were the results:

1- 120
2- 120
3- 125
4- 125
5- 115
6- 120
7- 125
8- 120

Of course, at that time my car rarely smoked. Now it smokes all the time! I need to do another compression test or a leak down test and find out what the problem really is.

I have an 80mm Pro-M MAF.

good numbers. 305 equates to 350.-- at the fly, not 360 but either way good numbers.

as for the "keyboard racer" comment, even though I am still laughing about that comment, most anyone will tell you that unless you are forced induction (which you arent yet) or big stroker, you don't need 75. Ill tell you right now that even though your intake opening is 75, it is too much for your 302 and you would pick a few more up with the 70 over the 75, but hey its your combo, whatever you are happy with.

the 65 is too small for my application but the 70 is just right.

thanks for clearing that up..I'm still not sure whether to go with the 65mm or the 70mm for my setup..FMS recommends the 65mm with the GT-40 intake..but I don't wanna sell myself short.

Actually if you consider 15% drivetrain loss, then 358.99 flywheel hp is the actual number. I was always told 15% drivetrain loss is the standard for a 5 speed, that's why I said "close to 360 at the flywheel." Anyway, I was told by Ed Curtis at Flowtech Induction, when I was originally considering one of his combos, that the 75mm TB are the best bang for the buck and what he recommended, so believe whatever you want. The shop I dynoed it said those are the highest numbers they've seen with that combo yet. Oh and I plan to supercharge it later anyway, just in case you still don't want to believe that the 75mm is okay for my combo.
