I finally have my '69 rebuilt and upgraded and want to get the engine tuned in by a professional. Can anybody suggest a place to take it in the Detroit area that can dyno tune a carbed car?

I have an Edelbrock 600 on the car now. I have a jetting kit and have messed with primary jetting without much perceived change. There is a bit of a bog when the secondaries open that I'd like to get worked out.
I welded o2 bungs on the exhaust pipes just rearward of the header collectors so I am all set there too.
I've gotten a good recommendation for Kendall at Detroit Dyno from a fellow autocrosser. He's apparently 'tech' oriented so I'm sure he'd be up for digging into your bog condition and trying to iron it out.
He also just got a shock dyno which I'm interested in using this winter on my Bilsteins.
you may want to bring another carb along just in case the edlebrock doesn't pan out. they aren't well known for high performance applications. vic has holleys on his race cars (?)

Considering their "company car" and the stuff that goes through that shop, not to mention all the work they do for Ford, I would say this is a good place to go. Sorry, no personal experience on the dyno.
Also, Roush has a dyno they drag around to some of the bigger shows in the summer, but I dont know what they do with it during the winter. It may or may not be available. I almost dynoed my car on it a couple years ago, but I didnt want to be embarrassed after a couple of the cars I watched earlier. I think it was $75 for 3 good runs.

When you say 'vic' are you referring to Vic Edelbrock? Does he really use Holly's on his cars???? If that is true....
This isn't the first time I've been told to told to ditch the Edelbrock carb. I got it from a friend along with the Edlebrock Performer RPM intake. I have the Edelbrock Performer RPM cam also. Not that it matters which carb I stick on top of this combo though...
If I could try a Holly 'on for size' and then not use it if it is no better than I have then I would but I don't want to be stuck with one if I ultimately can't tell a difference.
