As I am fortunate enough to have a Stuska Powertest ENGINE Dyno at my disposal at my father's shop, I ran the engine in on the dyno just to see where we stood, sans the injection and charger. This is a 347 with the following pieces thrown into the mix.

Stock block - Canton girdle and windage tray
Canton 7 qt pan
PBM rotating assembly (short 5.325 rod,16cc dish Mahle Piston, cast crank-28 oz)
Edelbrock perf 5.0 heads...lotta work on the exhaust, minor on intake side
Steeda 19 cam 220/226 @.050 115 LSA... small blower cam
PBM valvetrain...145lb seat/310 open, AMERICAN MADE stnlss valves
Weiand Stealth intake dual plane(INJ Man. is 94-95 cobra - ported)
750 holley Vaccum secondary dyno test carb
schoenfield dyno headers
PLEASE keep in mind that this engine is only 8.9:1 compression ratio with .022 top and .026 2nd ring gap for charger) and will be injected with a Vortech S-trim and on pump gas for the street. I.E. not a race engine

2600 RPM -400 lb/ft - 198 hp
3500 RPM -425l/ft - 283hp
4000RPM - 431lb/ft - 328 hp
4500 RPM 443 lb/ft(peak) - 371 hp
5000 RPM 427 lb/ft - 407 hp
5800 RPM 417 lb/ft - 426 hp(peak)
These digits are respectable for PRE-BLOWER #'s. Hope the 42 lb/hr MTRSPRT injectors are enough! This is expected to bring 450-470 at the tires and be FUN to drive...to the grocery store and car shows... chuckle
Thanks....William

that's a lot of power for a low comp motor. I'm very impressed, good job on the build!

wow that's stout, congrats. it will be nice to see when you get the blower on and strap it down on a chasis dyno. What are you planning on running for a tranny etc?

A flywheel 426hp/443lbft is very stout for an 8.9:1 compression N/A 347. I'm impressed! With the blower it'll haul some serious ass.
