Dynomax Race Bullets ?

i have no idea what these sound like on a 5.0, but people say good.

any comments, sound clips?

my choices right now are: flowmaster 1 chambers, slp loudmouths, dynomax race bullets.

- im looking for a loud, higher - pitched sound...nothing with popping and cracking (little as possible). i like that 4.6/cobra sound. some one mentioned the race bulllets sort of have that? i'll be running tailpipes and a xpipe with no cats.

I heard them on my friends 331. Loud as hell but sounds good.

i run them with a catted x pipe and dumped and they sound good, i used to run them with tails and they sounded good that way too just alittle smoother than with the dumps

sounds like race bullets wouldnt be a bad way to go

u should think about borla xr-1's, thats what i plan on, they're race mufflers like the bullets but from what ive heard sound a little cleaner, i dunno i'll let u know when i put them on in a few weeks

I have an o/r x running into my dynomax race bullets dumped. Car is loud as hell, its sounds a lot better than flowmaster 2 chambers. Everyone thinks my car is cammed. But I will be putting tailpipes on soon, I tired of the exhaust coming into the car. But they sound great.

if you don't like the popping noise, don't get the slp's. it may be my stock exhaust that goes into the 2.5" resonators, but i've heard they've got that sound going for all setups. i like the way my car sounds when i get on it though, and the popping when you let off in gear doesn't bother me that much.

my buddy aaron (Look Its Aaron) has some dynomax bullets for sale for $50 dollars, shipping should be like 12 bucks so hit this guy up if thats what you decide on

I have the bullets on my 87 coupe with o/r h pipe and dumped sounds great and you can't beat the price 35 dollars a piece.

i have bullets on all of my toys.. and they sound great.. loud but great.. i'll try to get a sound clip up of them on here

But it will never match the sound of a Cobra because its not a mod motor!!

i have 2 chambers and a x now. i like it....just sounds like every other mustang.

i know it wont sound like a cobra, obviously its a completely different motor. but i have heard 5.0s that had that 'raspy' tone.

*how did u get bullet mufflers to work with tailpipes??????
the normal flowmaster has the offsets, but 1 chambers, dynomax bullets, slps, etc has center in/center out.

how do you align the tailpipes to those kinds of mufflers and get them straight out of the back????

My exhaust mechanic does it.But its not hard! In fact I still have them with the connecting pipes still on them(welded,that connects to the mid pipe)Only have a few 1000 miles on them.
