it worked fine with my stock set up - 1.7 Crane rollers, e303, stock pistons, stock heads with mild porting, stock length hardened pushrods, etc... I did not degree mine but I would recommend that as well since the motor is out - I wish I had a bit more low end torque but it does fine at 17degrees advanced timing, 3.73 gears, 5spd w/ 3.35 first gear, Performer 5.0 intake, 70mm t/body, 76mm C&L, 19lb injectors, MAC equal length shorties, Taurus 3.8 fan, pullies, AFPR, etc.... I get about 26-27 mpg on the open road with the ability to burn 1st, peel 2nd, chirp 3rd at will....
