I said a long time ago that I would post pics of this so here ya go.

Here is just a distance shot to show the tool on the car

(Okay, yes the car is very dirty(gravel drive) and yes those are air shocks in the rear(temp. fix)

This shows how the roller is positioned on the fender lip. Then you just roll the drum back and forth adding more pressure as needed and adjust the depth as needed till it is flat.

Two pics of what it looks like after rolling is complete.

Any Questions just ask, all in all I was pretty happy with it. The rear lips were a little more work but if you take your time it all comes out good.
I know alot of you have other ways of doing this for less money but to not have any problems was well worth the money to me! IMO

That is a really cool tool. Looks like you have to set the emergency brake so it wouldn't move. How much did that cost?

last time I checked, i think that tool was somewhere in the realm of $279.

Did you check to see if any of your paint cracked anywhere or if your 1/4 panel is warped in 'other' places? i have heard of these types of things happening.

The only place where I had any problems with cracking was in the rear where the inner lip and outer lip were put togther. The seam sealer that was put in between them cracked out. You just have to be careful and then go back and reseam seal it when you are done(which I would have done anyway). And I looked it over really well, didn't see and warping. Although the pressure you put on it sometimes it seems like it would. And it costed me about 300 plus shipping when I got it.
You don't want to set you E-Brake as you need the drum to roll the tool back and forth.

So if I sent you $300 to ship it to me to rent to use on my '65, when I returned it, what would you charge me for rental? Assuming there's no damage (my father always said, if you borrow something, return it in the same or better condition as when you got it if you ever want to borrow anything from that person again).

Sorry guys, I had someone from SN interested in purchasing it from me a while back. I will let him post here if he would like to resell it or rent it when he is done with it. Thanks

You should just start a "tree". Next guy sends you $250 for it, guy after that sends him $200 for it... etc. at the end it has to be shipped back to you.

I doubt that would work, the last guy would only have to send $50, why ship something that costs $300 when you only have $50 in it? Possesion being 9/10s of the law might have something to do with it too. I'd never do something like that, but there are some unscrupulous people out there, even on StangNet. I'd be willing to send $300 and get $250 back, shoot send it out 6 rimes and its paid for, after that, its parts money. I've been thinking about buying a sonic checker and taking it to swap meets and checking blocks for people for $72 a pop for a 12 point per cylinder check. That's 96 points in a V8 block at .75 a point.
