Looking to upgrade rear with either Eaton or Auburn 31 spline and Moser axles. Ive heard they were both good, but wanted opinions from those of you that have used them.I'm building a 354 with a 150 shot and will use it street/strip with M/T Et streets. Any opinions or suggestions?

I went with the Eaton since its rebuildable. I love it, on a rainy day driving around a corner the outside tire will chirp the diff is so tight.

one of the shops i called said they didn't even carry the auborn anymore because of problems they were having with it. so i went with the eaton and it works great. now i don't know if that is the truth about the auborns having problems but i can tell you i am very happy with my eaton.

I have an Auburn Pro now........next time I'll get an Eaton. No problems, but it is kind of noisy sometimes when the fluid gets hot and I'm going around corners.

I know it's a smaller carrier, but my brother exploded 2 eatons in his f-body. His car is a pretty stock LT1 on drag radials. I'm thinking of getting a Detroit locker when it's time.
