A little to late to be asking now that you've spent the money.....

But on a serious note they work decent. I didnt really feel any difference in power when i added it. I also replaced the stock filter that came with it with a K & N filter. I ended up selling mine though and making one outta PVC piping to run the K&N into the fender. havent noticed any difference in power between the CAI and my homemade CAI.

Yeah, you won't get a lot of performace out of it, but it WILL look a lot better. I got my CAI off ebay, except mine was 80 shipped back a couple of years ago. I'm happy with mine though, and I'm pretty sure most of the other buyers of eBay CAI's are fairly happy also.

The cone K&N I had for my 01 v6 wouldn't fit on my ebay CAI so I just used the one that came with it. Still have the K&N if anyone wants to buy it cheap. I only ran it on there for like a month.

ebay CAI's work fine and def worth the price. im pretty sure you need like a 4in inlet on the filter to make it fit. i had head the ebay ones have crappy filters so since i couldnt find a universal k&n i got an APC one w/ a 3in inlet and it wouldnt come close to fitting. hope that helps. the one that comes on it seems decent enough tho feels just like my k&n for the stock airbox
