anyone heard anything on some of the ministarters on ebay? i see them going for around 50-60 bucks and it looks tempting especially since im getting ready to put in my L/T headers soon. what do you guys think? any other places with good prices or a nice starter that isnt too expensive? can anyone explain if wiring it up is a PITA?

A few of the 94-95 guys run those cheaper minis. I havent heard long-term feedback on them though. Given how reman'd stuff tends to do, I think I will give one a shot when I need it.

Good luck and bump.

Super easy to install. You can use the starter cable you have now. You'll need to move the starter cable from the right to the left side of the starter sylenoid, then, run a 12 gauge wire from the plug on the starter to the right side of the sylenoid, where the starter cable was originally.Finished.I made my own harness, but I found out that Ford has a 12 gauge wire ready to go for this job.It has the cap for the wire cover on the starter, the wire has the appropriate ends, and all you need to do is put it on.Sorry,I don't know the part number.I'm still getting used to the sound of it.Reminds me of a Mopar starter. It's a lot smaller, and WAY lighter.Easy upgrade and well worth it.I did mine 2 weeks ago on my car.Good luck.
