ebay turbo kit

Just remember that you have to have a tubular K-member for this kit, as well as a MAF, injectors, fuel pump, and a tune. It will add up pretty quick. If you are set on a turbo, then this is a good start. If you are looking to go fast, I would suggest getting a nice centrifugal supercharger kit.

i ordered it :D it is shiping out tommorrow and will be here in 7 days
i found this on another forum Granatelli K-member Kit Special Only $499.99......check It Out!!!!

i just dont know how to get ahold of them on that forum  this k member kit is the same one that they want with that turbo kit just 100 or more dollars cheeper. and i need a good spot to find injectors and fuel pump

im going to buy the On 3 Performance MAF kit (calibrated to specific injector size) $195 from on3performance

a turbo 4.6 compared to a vortech/paxton 4.6 is no comparison.. ive drove both turbo all the way..

That's awesome man! When it'll all be said and done, that turbo kit will probably be a $1000 or so more expensive than the blower I'm putting on will be, except the turbo will be more than capable to push the limits of your stock motor, whereas my blower probably won't come close. Be sure you keep us posted; turboed 2v's aren't something we see every day.

2 year old thread :p

congrats on the purchase!

PLEASE do a [detailed] writeup or something!
i will thanks

Hmm not too bad for just a hot and cold side I suppose...they did an amazing job on the fab work and placement ;) looks really nice in all 304ss..I was tempted to use that myself...but didn't due to weight.
So are you going with a single t-70? Masterpower makes some very good turbos...and pretty inexpencive to boot ;)

I'd never invest in a kit made from 304 stainless. If I'm dropping any amount north of $2000 you bet your ass it's going to be 321. I'd garage my car until I could afford Ponydown, Hellion, or a custom fabbed kit, but that's just me.

"There's never enough money to do it right but there's always enough money to do it twice." Just my .02

i wonder what its going to sound like because in the ebay pics the mustang loses the dual exhaust all the way through
it sounded ok on the you tube videos

yes just a single t-70 for now untill something goes wrong with the turbo then i will upgrade to a better name brand one

I have heard nothing but terrible things about Granatelli parts. When it comes to something as critical as a K-member, I would never skimp out on the quality.
can you suggest any other k member kits or websites

Well, the two that I can think of off of the top of my head are the QA1 K member, and the Maximum Motorsports one. When I do mine, I'm going Maximum Motorsports all the way. MM even makes a K-member SPECIFICALLY for the Hellion turbo kits, that allows routing of the pipes through it. I bet if you get that K member, you could re-route this turbo kit's piping through it and not worry about being lowered.
