Ect Relocation

Hey guys. Has anybody tried to relocate the ECT to mount directly onto the manifold? I removed the heater tubes (not thinking) and really screwed myself. I have a spare pigtail, and thinking about trying to adapt it to fit in the drivers side where the sender was. Thoughts?

It can be done. Make a pilgrimage to Home Depot or Lowes and check out their assortment of brass fittings.

Yup. Just need to find the right fittings.

McMaster-carr is a good online source if oyu know the sizes. The item shown above would be called a bushing. They are NPT, but no clue on the sizes
