ECT

hey guys, Im going to replace the ect on my 88 2.3 vert, but i have three different references telling me its 3 different places...one book says its located after the thermostat, another says the intake manifold. which is it? the upper one with the black/wt and ltgn/yel wire is what ive been lead to believe. thanks guys
