ecu/eec problems help needed

read carefully...

i bought a 99 mustang for $500 it was a lil messed up but i fixed it but not before i put a crowbar through the eec in the passenger side kick panel...

So to make a long screw short...i changed the eec and it wont start i have tried 3 of them all with the same numbers and junk it was
CUR1 XR3F-KB

now whats funny is the old one with the crowbar rammed through it starts the car and stuff just no over drive and it messes with the fuel delivery system or some ****.....

is there something i should know on how to replace a computer is there something that i should ground first do i have to hook it to a scan tool ?

please help i have no idea on whats wrong!!!

does anyone know anything about these things or are we all show and no go?????oh yeah thats right thats why we all have 6 cylinders!!!!ha ha ha ha

try being patient...perhaps they haven't run into this problem yet. did you try a search??

you have a 99 so you should have PATS (Passive Anti Theft System). the dealer needs to program your keys/computer so the car will start. it's an easy 8 - 10 step process.
