Does an Edelbrock Performer RPM II intake manifold clear a stock Fox hood??? I will be installing a motor in my 91 coupe in the next few days with that manifold on it & it looks to be pretty tall. I hope it clears because although I was planning on a small cowl hood down the road, I didnt plan on it being right now. If I have issues, I will probably just switch to a different manifold because a new hood plus paint would be pretty pricey....Im not sure if the type of motor mounts make a difference, but I will be running Prothane poly motor mounts as well.

Sorry if this question has been asked before, but i searched 1st & couldnt find any info...Thanks....

After reading that all I can say is you can try it out and it will either clear or not, my assumption is that it will rub slightly, I too will be installing one pretty soon but I have a cowl hood so no probs for me, good luck.

Thanks for that info... I got the motor in the car & it wont clear the stock hood a all. Maybe its due to the motor mounts??
