EDIS to EEC-IV 5.0?

Saw a thread on here that somebody on this forum knows
how to mate up an eec-iv EDIS like off an Explorer with a
Mustang type setup with a typical A9x ecu/system.

I have a 351 Lightning motor, warmed up, in a mass air-converted
89 Lincoln Mk7 LSC that I would be interested in doing this to.

Also have have a non-Ford sb V8 that I'd like to try this on, or
at least see if I can figure out how to do it (for now :-)

One more, more complicated, conversion I'd be interested in figuring
out is using the eec-iv or eec-v mod motor EDIS which uses the
cam position sensor on the cam instead of the sensor replacing the
distributor on a different V8 that also uses a sensor wheel on the
cam for it's oem ecu setup. The major things to figure out might
likely be getting the cam sensor either working with or swapped to
the Ford type sensor, and getting the toothed wheel mounted
onto the crank.

Thanks for any details!

Danny (Sorscode) is probably a good resource. IIRC he has implemented an EEC-V system for a 94-95 GT Mustang (originally EEC-IV). He has his own forum (linked to in his sig).

This should be a fun project for you.

Good luck.
