EFI to Carb Conversion

I'm sure there already exists a good article for converting from EFI to N/A.
Can somebody direct me?

EFI and N/A are the same there buddy, but I asume you mean N/A to carb?

If so it basically involves ripping out the computer and such I believe, but it's nothing I'd recommend

Ya know what, I didn't even notice that.. haha.. yeah, you're right..

Anyway, I'm getting really tired of the computer crap that goes along with every change we make on the motor.. it changes frequently. This is a race car and it's "always" something setting us back because we have to compensate for the stupid computer. We're making JMS motorsports millionaires for nothing, when it's a whole lot easier tuning a carb.

Believe me, I'm not loosing any sleep at night because of worse gas mileage and some loss of low end torque.

This will all be compensated for..

Well in that case then I believe that it just involves removing computer and such and using mechanical gauges, but it's never that simple

carb and EFI are both N/A (naturally aspirated) - as opposed to forced induction, such as turbos and blowers).

if you ditch the puter (kinda need to unless you burn a chip, in which case you could do that now and retain efi), you need mech dizzy (or locks yours) and quite a few other things. there are some threads in 5.0 tech about it - it can be involved.

good luck.

IMO, its totally not worth it. just keep paying JMS employees salaries. i cant imagine the headaches involved with that project.

i believe all the people that have done it have had major headache while doing it. you also have to mess with the fuel lines. Carbs run high volume low pressure, while EFI runs low volume high pressure. If you want a carb i would just go with an old school muscle car.
