EGR spacer and cobra intake question

Alright, this is the second question I have posted up today, hopefully people do not get fed up with me!

I bought quite a few parts from people from the local club for very good prices. One of the purchases I made was this:

Now, when I posted that pic up on the local car forum, there was some people that said I do not need to use that EGR spacer with that intake. Others were confused by this statement. I wanted to get more opinions. Do I need to use the EGR spacer or not? And why? Thanks.

no you dont...i think it already sorta has one built in....i didnt use a spacer on mine......i just bypassed the coolant that goes through it.

iwashmycar is right, the egr is built in on the cobra intake. No need for the EGR spacer, just bolt up the TB and go.
