Regarding the front brake calipers, I've read two different ways to deal with them. 1) Remove the two inner bolts to remove the whole caliper. and 2) Remove the two outer bolts as when replaceing the pads.

Remember to take all necessary safety precautions such as making sure the steering knuckle does not get damaged and the spring does not fly out and kill you.

I have worked on my brakes many times. Two bolts hold the caliper on. Once the caliper is removed you can access two bolts that hold the brake bracket on.
All the instructions I have read state to remove the caliper out of the way. I believe this is because the brake hoses are too short to lower the A-arms as much as I need to.
Regarding the caliper, one way states to remove the inner two bolts only, while the other states to remove the outer bolts only.
I think both ways are equally good, but I want to be sure. Both ways accomplish the same task.
I'm not using a spring compressor. There werew none available where I live for todays install. I do have a tie rod removal tool thoough.
Without a spring compressor, I need to lower the A-arm more. For this the brake hoses are too short.
The jack is under the A-arm compressing the spring. The car is off the jack stand I set under the car for this install.
I still can't get any part of the front shock up through the plate to nut and bolt it in.
132608 is the number on the spring. I wonder if it was placed in the wrong box.

If you mean the two little holes on the bottom of the A-arm.
I was able to mark where the original spring was before I removed it. The new spring is in the same spot.
def. make sure its the right p/n's. if not contact the place you bought em. i can only imagine how frustrating that can be. this is all as long as you did the install correctly. the only way i would think a spring would raise a car is if u put it in upside down.. but im sure you wouldnt do that. lol
I followed the stangnet instructions when I installed my Eibach Pro kit, and only removed the short bolts (in front).
Like Kilgore mentioned, * watch out * when you take the springs off; they can jump out and do some serious damage.
As far as the brake lines; I only pulled those out from the one or two brackets they are attached to, giving them more slack and enabling me to hang the brake calipers in zip ties so they were out of my way while working on the springs.
