I just ordered the Eibach pro-kit with the 1.5 inch drop. I did not order any shocks or struts and plan on just using the stock shocks and struts, will this pose a problem? I also know that some guys from what I have researched when putting the springs on get away without the putting the caster-camber plates on which do not seem too necessary with the 1.5 inch drop, am i right? Also with the isolators, some take them out to get an extra .25 inch of drop in the front, have any of you gotten any creaks or any noises from removing them and which ones do you remove in the front, top, bottom or both? Last about the install Ive read articles on them and really doesnt seem that hard to do, is there anything to watch out for or is there any parts that are a pita to do? I cant wait to get rid of the 4x4 look...

I installled mine with the stock shocks/struts and have had zero problems. Much noticeable and improved handling with the Eibachs. Some guys need CC plates, others say they don't. The proof is in your driving. If you start to get uneven and premature tire wear, you need the CC plates to get the best alignment. With isolators, I've seen some guys use the stock ones, some go without and some replace them with polyurethane ones. My recommendation is to install polyurethane isolators when you do the springs so you only have to go through the process one time. They are not that expensive.

i put this kit on my 98 GT. the only problem to date is that it wore my struts/shocks out quickly (im guessing) and i replaced them with stock replacements. The car had about 105k miles on it at the time of install. No C C plates, no uneven wear. Handles 100% better along side of lookin really good. also i remove a rubber peice that kept the car from hitting on my axle everytime i went over a bump, took 3 maybe 4 bolts and it was worth it!. Never bottoms out now!!

I'm just guessing here, but I bet the reason your shocks/struts went out was the 105k miles on them. They were probably on their way out anyways and the lowering springs were what pushed them over the edge.

After bigger wheels and tires, before removing isolators...

I have Eibach prokit. i also have tokico 5-ways, steeda swaybars, CC plates and polyurathane all around. I would recommend getting the shocks aswell. Your car will not perform as well and you will wear the shocks out prematurely. If anybody can host some pics for me I can show you the drop on my car.

this is less than right... maybe next time you should get something else than a 20 series tire and not stretch it :D
