Kept my isolators, got the CC Plates incase, replaced my struts and shocks with mach 1 struts and shocks which are tociko.

Im very happy with my setup! Proved its worth going through the mountains in the back of hellen

this is less than right... maybe next time you should get something else than a 20 series tire and not stretch it

It's a 255/35zr18 on a 9" wide wheel... thats not stretching it the drop sucks. I'm probably gonna pull the isolators on next time i get the car in the air, just hate to do it, its such a pain in the ass.

Yeah, they're on the right way... start doing stuff to your car and you won't look like such a dumb ass

That pic somewhat exaggerates the crapiness of the drop, here's a pic from further away, but im definitely unhappy with the drop.

Are the springs as easy to install as it looks, i mean it looks like not that hard at all. Also if anyone has any Silver 99+GT'S dropped with the pro-kit please post pics!

Pro-kit a good choice, very subtle drop compared to some but it’s the look I was going for. Still has that factory appearance but something looks different... better.

Mine have been in almost two years now, no CC plates, one alignment still within spec last time it was checked. I had Ford C-springs in a 00 GT with factory struts/shocks, no CC plates and it was fine too. A lot of people run factory struts/shocks and don’t have a problem. Depends some on the kinds of roads you have to drive, if they are smoother less problems but aftermarket struts/shocks are worth the expense.

Get a buddy to help, it’ll be easier on you. It’s not that complicated of a job to do, it’s more of a use jack stands and a good jack kind of thing. Get the car up high enough you can lower the front and rear far enough and the springs will all but fall out. You go to prying and yanking on that spring and it wont feel good. Take your time, be safe and you and your buddy will be on the road in hours.

Good luck with it.

You said you removed your isolators from the front. Did ride quality suffer? Is it noisy? Did you remove both top and bottom isolators? Did you remove them b/c the drop wasnt enough? How much more of a drop did it give you? I'm a little worried about my drop so far. i got them on yesterday, but it didnt drop as much in the front as i had hoped for. I'm thinking of waiting for a while and seeing if it drops any further, and if not, taking out the isolators in the front.

prokits seem to look pretty good on 17s, but not on 18s. Definitely need to go with H&R SS with 18s.

I love the Prokit, love the drop because its just perfect, and not to extreme. Love the ride, but ofcourse I got the tocikos off of the Mach 1 and I did opt for caster plates just incase.

You're gona love this kit

i very humbly retract that statement, after a closer look, i realized i was looking at the front fender and not the rear quarter panel. i origonally thought that i saw the corner of the tail light in that pic. i am sorry for my ignorant statement.....

I've got FRPP B-Springs on my '04, and left the isolators in, but have been thinking lately about taking them out. I too would like to know if anyone actually has any problems without them... noise, etc... or pix of the car before and after removing the isolators without changing anything else...

I may just have to take mine out, and see what happens... just thinking another 1/2" drop would be nice. I don't want to go to low, on a daily driver that gets annoying... plus I can barely get my floor jack under the car now...
