well i am concerned never gave it to much thought but with eibachs drop do any of you guys have problems with the tail pipes hitting your rear axel? or rubbing on brake lines ect.??
i had problems with the DS rubbing on the break cable when i dropped my car... i just wacked it and bent the brackets back up with a screw driver and hammer... no problems otherwise...
My LT's scrape the ground all the time, but I also have a QA1 k-member which lowers the car about another 1/4". No problems at all when the car was mostly stock w/sportlines.
damn i really wanted longtubes too im not gonna get a k member at least not anytime soon...and i never go near speedbumps...your saying they drag just any given time..... im thinking i should lower it first then work on my exaust and mod it around and do what i gotta do
It seems to be a common problem with Kooks headers for the passenger side to hang down about an inch lower than it needs to be. I have at most 2" clearance between the ground and my headers. Other brands of LT's may not have this problem.
Before I installed the k-member I didn't really have any problems with the exhaust. It would drag occasionally on speed bumps, but that was about it. It was definitely something I could live with at that point.
To give you an idea how low my car is now, you know those bowls they put the salad in at Wendy's? Some idiot left one of those in the middle of the road one day and it got stuck under my car. I pushed that bowl for about 3 or 4 miles before it finally busted apart.
