85 or 86.

Your problem is up by the starter solinoid . I’ll bet the fusible link or links are burned or not hooked up . The yellow wire on the starter sol 86 and up with the 4 branches of wire coming out power majority of the stuff in the car . Windows are on a circuit breaker on the same post

No power to clutch, but when I excite, fuel pump comes on.
Man, am I ought of my league.
Can't find the red and blue wire from solenoid at the ignition switch. Must change color.
I say this with all respect - You have to type full clear sentences .

How are you exciting the fuel pump ? Of course if you put power to the wire going to it it’s going to run .

If you look at the diagram . Fuse link “c” which is in the yellow wires I mentioned that you say you believe is blown is basically the power to everything toward making your starter relay work . I’d replace it if you tested it and it’s no good .

I will effort to be more clear.
I worked on it today. I tested all the fusible links, they all tested good but there might be a possibility the wire to alternator may be faulty. The two yellow wires that provide power at the ignition switch show no current at the ignition switch, but test hot below solenoid. Thx for any insight.

I hear what you’re saying but The only thing between that ignition switch that would stop power unless those wires were cut is the fusible link there .
