Just wondering if someone who has installed an Autometer Elec Water Temp Gauge could give me some advice. Should I tap a 1/8 NPT hole on the boss next to the thermostat or is there a better place to connect the sender? Please help with pics if you have them. Thanks
I install that sender into a drain hole in the block. The 3/8 NPT bushing provided by Autometer will screw into the hole, which is on the drivers side at about the mid-point of the #7 cylinder.
