Electric exhaust cutouts...where to buy from for a good price?

Been thinking about gettig some, at summit its around $350 or so for a pair of 3" electric cutouts. Does anybody know where to get some for a better price?

I was at the international center in Toronto a few months ago and I think DaSilva had some on display but it might of been the booth next to them and I can't remember what thier name was and I think they were $275 CDN.

Or you could always look on ebay.

Not sure about the price but these guys are very knowledgable about them. A lof of the turbo guys use the cutouts.

Found the ones im buying......

for anyone interested, i was pointed to these via the 460ford.com forums,. they are only $215 for a pair of them, great quality and everything that comes with the summit kit minus the price.

that's a sweet deal get a sound clip when you get those in your car but try not to blow the mic on the camera lol.

i've never run the car with open pipes on the new motor. should be nice to "tune" in the sound The flows do get a little quiet when cruising.

so what benefits do these things have anyway? Is it just basically running open headers whenever you want?

Its not quiet as loud as open pipes because you use a Y-pipe on each side of your dual system with the cutout plate on the Y part, adjusting the throatyness/loudness of your exhaust to your mood lol, which is pretty neat. Heres a movies with the cutouts installed, notice the difference by adjusting the tone.

using them on a lightly modded 5.0 mite actually decrease the performance!
But the intimidation factor at a stop lite would be priceless!

Ok, just ordered my dump pipes from summit, was $43 for the pair. And i also order the Mccord power plates electric cutouts for $231.24 shipped 3 day select, which is a damn good price. This should make the fun factor go waaaaaaaaay up

I found these on the 460ford.com board, a few guys used them with great results, one of them is a mud racer and he has had no problems after mudding with them for over a year. Here a vid of his huge ass truck with the plates installed :
