electric fan

I don't know which factory type unit would work. I would suggest aftermarket, preferably a twin push/pull setup, and Mr. Gasket fans are made in the US and are by far the best.
All the twin setups I've seen are too big for a Mustang II radiator. When I was at the Fun Ford Weekend in Bristol last year, I saw an electric fan with a shroud that would fit a Mustang II radiator with a little trimming and flowed something like 4000 cfm. I haven't been able to find it online, so I'm hoping it will be there again this year, and I'll pick it up. Other than that, I would go with a Flex-A-Lite 16" Syclone fan. It flows 2500 cfm, only draws 17 amps, and covers a lot of the Mustang II radiator core.

EDIT: a lot of Fox guys go with a Lincoln Mark VIII or Taurus fan. The Lincoln fan would require going with a much larger radiator, so the Taurus fan would work. Unfortunately, they both suck a lot of amps, so if you run one, you're going to need to upgrade to a 3G alternator.

Hey I jusy noticed that you live in the Cary, NC area! I used to live in that area a quite a few years back now. Nice area. Most of the Cops there were a$$holes when I lived there but when your young and have a lot of power at your disposal things happen...

Take in mind I had to cut a half inch of the built-in shroud's depth off of the one side, and cut the "nub" off the water pump. This is also the 75-76 short pump....

You will need a temp control and a HEAVY DUTY relay to work this fan. Make no 2 ways about it. And the cheap 20-30 amp relay is not what I am talking about! The fan has some serious current draw! It is a two speed fan low and holy $hit! I just about got messed up the first time I tried the high speed setting on the bench. It about pulled my loose fitting shirt into the fan.

Here is an article that shows some of the parts # of the exrta parts they used. I went a slightly different way but I did spend the bucks on the Bosch relay.

Here you go. Good luck.
